# Connect Data 360 to Databricks on Azure with a Salesforce-Managed Private Network Route

Use Private Connect Multicloud for Data 360 to establish a secure, private connection between Data 360 and your Databricks data source on Azure. Salesforce provisions and maintains the Azure private endpoints on your behalf—no AWS or Azure configuration required on your end. Data never enters the public internet; it stays on the private network route you create.

**Where:** This change applies to Data Cloud in editions that support Data 360. See [Data 360 edition availability](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_dc_editions.htm&language=en_US&type=5).

**When:** Salesforce-Managed Private Network Route for Databricks on Azure is available starting the week of September 28, 2026.

**Who:** To set up a Salesforce-managed private network route, you need the Data Cloud Architect permission set and the Manage External Connections or Customize App permission.

**How:** From Data Cloud Setup, go to **Admin Tools**, **Private Connect**, and click **New**. Select the **Databricks** tile, choose **Azure**, and then select **Salesforce-Managed**. Enter your Databricks workspace URL and Azure Resource ID values, configure the internal stage settings if needed, and **Save**. Salesforce provisions the Azure private endpoints in approximately 10 minutes.
