Describe the app or agent you want in plain language, and Salesforce Builder Central helps you plan it, build it, and preview it in one workspace. Start from a suggested prompt or your own description. Then see what the Build Agent builds, validate it in a preview org, and deploy to a sandbox.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 Editions.
When: This functionality is available starting in September 2026.
Why: Enterprises move in a fast-paced, competitive world, where slow development cycles mean missed opportunities. Building an app or agent usually means moving between many tools and knowing where each piece of metadata lives, which slows you down. With Builder Central, you work through those steps in one place, stay in control as you build, and check your work in a preview before you move it forward, so you can move at the pace of your ideas.
How: Builder Central is a no-code experience: you build by describing what you want, not by writing code. An administrator first turns on Builder Central for the org in Setup and gives users access. Users then open Builder Central from the App Launcher and start from one of the suggested prompts or describe what they want to create by typing in their idea.
From there, you can:
- When the Build Agent proposes a plan, review and adjust it. Depending on how you start, it might share a plan up front or go straight to building.
- See what the Build Agent builds through metadata visualizations, which show the parts of your app or agent that changed, such as objects, fields, and other components.
- Validate your work in a temporary preview org, and refine it with the Build Agent, or adjust details yourself in the property panel or a metadata visualization, until it works the way you want. The preview org is ephemeral and used only for validation, and the Build Agent redeploys only your changes as you refine. Preview-org validation is available when you use Builder Central in a Developer or Developer Pro sandbox. For more about how Builder Central works, see Get Started with Builder Central.
- Deploy your work to a sandbox when you're ready to continue with your standard development and release process.
