Migrate billing transactions from an external system to Salesforce and resume billing from the appropriate point. Use catch-up bill runs to advance billing schedules to a target date without generating invoices for previously billed periods. Preserve billing continuity without reprocessing historical invoices or triggering unnecessary tax processing.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions of Revenue Management, formerly Revenue Cloud, with the Revenue Cloud Advanced or Revenue Cloud Billing license.
Who: To schedule catch-up bill runs, you need the Billing Operations User permission set.
How: From the App Launcher, find and select Billing Batch Scheduler. Click New Invoice Scheduler and select Catch-Up Bill Run.
