# Automate Billing Schedule Reconciliations for Early Renewals of Future-Dated Orders

Eliminate manual financial reconciliation when customer contracts undergo early renewals for future-dated orders. Billing automatically detects transactions with superseded timelines and issues a negative billing schedule to eliminate the risk of double-billing. Simultaneously, Billing generates a new positive billing schedule for the updated renewal to maintain billing accuracy.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions of Revenue Management, formerly Revenue Cloud, with the Revenue Cloud Advanced or Revenue Cloud Billing license

**Who:** Your users need the Billing Admin permission set to create billing schedules.

**How:** To create a billing schedule, from the App Launcher, find and select **Orders**. Open an order and activate it.
