# Keep Service and Email Domain Allow-Lists Independent Across Instances

Replication no longer copies your service allow-list and email domain allow-list configurations between instances. Previously, these lists were replicated as preferences, so replicating configuration from a staging instance could overwrite the allow-lists on your production instance. Now your development, staging, and production instances each keep their own allow-list configuration, so a replication doesn't change which services and email domains you allow on production.

**Where:** This change applies to B2C Commerce.

**How:** Because these lists aren't replicated any longer, review the allow-list configuration on each instance and update it directly on the instance where you want the change to apply.
