# Add Products to Categories with AI

Use AI to suggest categories for products in your product list. The recommendations are based on your current catalog. Categories are created only for base products, not variations. If a product is assigned to multiple sites, it can have different suggestions based on the site catalog. To see which products don't have an assigned category, review the new Products without Categories insight on the dashboard.

**Where:** This feature applies to B2C Commerce.

**How:** On the Product List page, select one or more base or simple products. To request AI category suggestions, click **AI Suggest**.

On the dashboard, view how many products don't have categories. To get category suggestions, click **View Details**.
