26.10 Release

This B2C Commerce release occurs between September 29 and October 29, 2026.

  • Reach Shoppers in Any Locale with Agentic Commerce Search
You can now use Agentic Commerce Search for B2C Commerce storefronts in any locale. Previously, Agentic Commerce Search supported only English locales. No action is required.
  • Get More Workspace with Collapsible Navigation in the Utility Bar
Maximize your workspace in Business Manager by collapsing and expanding the left navigation pane with a toggle in the Utility Bar. Your selected view persists when you switch Business Manager apps or log out.
  • Find Pages to Add to Your Custom App Navigation Faster
When you create or modify a custom app, zero in on the pages you want by narrowing your search with filters or by clicking one of the common section categories.
  • Choose up to 1,000 Locales in Business Manager
Broaden your global reach with more localized customer experiences. You can select up to 1,000 languages and locales in Business Manager, instead of the previous 200 cap. The increased limit is enabled by default.
  • Check When Your Instance Was Last Updated in Business Manager
In the Business Manager left navigation pane, hover over the release version to see the date of your instance. Previously, this date appeared in the footer.
  • Update Business Manager Cartridges to a More Secure Format
Business Manager cartridges that use the deprecated pre-2.6 extension format no longer load. Update your cartridges to the current format to maintain functionality.
  • Minimize Downtime to Your B2C Commerce Connection When a Salesforce Sandbox Refreshes
When you refresh a sandbox org that’s connected to Salesforce, the org ID changes, but your B2C Commerce instance doesn't recognize the change. As a result, the B2C Commerce features that rely on the Salesforce connection are unavailable. A Disconnect link appears in Business Manager so that you can completely disconnect the affected pairing. You can then reconnect to the same sandbox org or a different one.
  • Connect B2C Commerce to Salesforce Without a Data 360 License
You no longer need a Data 360 license to connect your B2C Commerce instance to a Salesforce org. With that requirement removed, you can more easily set up the trusted connection that powers agentic and cross-cloud experiences, such as Shopper Agent, Merchant Agent, Shopper Profile Sync, and Shopper Notifications
  • Pair Any Nonproduction B2C Commerce Instance with Any Salesforce Sandbox
You no longer need a specific sandbox to establish a connection, giving you more flexibility when pairing an instance. Reduce your total cost of ownership by connecting a nonproduction B2C Commerce instance with any of your Salesforce org's sandboxes, including Developer and Developer Pro sandboxes.
  • Track Per-Level Taxes on Line Items (Generally Available)
Beginning with B2C Commerce 26.10, Multiple Tax Levels is generally available to all merchants. Your tax-provider integration can now store individual tax items on a line item, such as federal, state, county, or local tax. B2C Commerce aggregates those items into one tax amount and uses that amount for totals. There is nothing to turn on. Behavior is opt-in: if a line item has no tax items, you still set the aggregated tax value directly.
  • Keep Service and Email Domain Allow-Lists Independent Across Instances
Replication no longer copies your service allow-list and email domain allow-list configurations between instances. Previously, these lists were replicated as preferences, so replicating configuration from a staging instance could overwrite the allow-lists on your production instance. Now your development, staging, and production instances each keep their own allow-list configuration, so a replication doesn't change which services and email domains you allow on production.
  • Apply Rate Limiting to Cached Assets in eCDN Rules
When you create or edit an eCDN rate-limiting rule in Business Manager, you can now control whether cached assets count toward the rule’s rate limit. This setting is selected by default, so cached assets count toward the limit and rules created before this change keep their current behavior. Clear the checkbox to apply the rule’s rate limits only to non-cached requests.
  • Manage eCDN Security and Analytics for Your SCAPI Zone in Business Manager
Configure security controls, including custom rules, rate limits, IP access lists, and cache purges, and view traffic analytics for your SCAPI zone directly in Business Manager or through the CDN Zones API. Previously, SCAPI zones were entirely Salesforce-managed, so every WAF rule or IP block required a support case. Now you can respond to abusive traffic, such as credential stuffing against your login endpoints, in real time, while platform guardrails reject any configuration that would break SCAPI routing or your ecommerce traffic.
  • Protect OCAPI Integrations with Under Attack Mode
When you turn on Under Attack Mode for an eCDN storefront zone, selected Open Commerce API (OCAPI) requests continue without a browser challenge. You can protect storefront pages during an attack without interrupting OCAPI integrations that use the exempt paths. Calls to other storefront paths can still be challenged, so use targeted custom rules and rate limiting when you need to protect those paths.
  • Migrate Legacy eCDN Zones to Proxy Zones Now to Avoid Site Disruption
The August 15, 2026 deadline to migrate from legacy eCDN zones to proxy zones has passed, and legacy zones and HTTP-only traffic are no longer supported. If your site still relies on a legacy zone, or your DNS (including any stacked third-party CDN) still points to a legacy zone’s CNAME, your site is at risk of an outage when that zone is removed or auto-migrated. This risk isn’t always visible: as soon as your proxy zone is active, eCDN routes traffic based on the incoming hostname regardless of what your upstream DNS still points to, so traffic can look normal even when your DNS hasn’t been updated to reflect the migration. Review your configuration and migrate to proxy zones as needed.
  • Add Products to Categories with AI
Use AI to suggest categories for products in your product list. The recommendations are based on your current catalog. Categories are created only for base products, not variations. If a product is assigned to multiple sites, it can have different suggestions based on the site catalog. To see which products don't have an assigned category, review the new Products without Categories insight on the dashboard.
  • Find Products Faster with the Merchant Agent
Reduce the time spent manually creating filters for large catalogs with many product fields. Describe the products that you want to find, and AI converts your request into filters with product attributes, operators, and values. Generate filters in the Filters pane.
  • Search for Multiple Product IDs in the Product List
Speed up your search by entering multiple product IDs in the search bar. You can use spaces, commas, colons, semicolons, or line breaks to separate the IDs. If the product IDs contain special characters, separate them with line breaks to ensure that every ID is included.
  • Route B2C Commerce Events to External Systems (Generally Available)
Configure connectors in Business Manager to send platform events, including sf.cc.order.placed, to your external systems. When a platform event doesn't represent the business event that you want to send, declare and send a custom event from your cartridge. B2C Commerce eventing, now generally available, was previously available as a pilot feature.
  • Investigate Traffic and Recurring Errors in Log Center
Get information about the request volume, peak sessions, response time, system workload, and orders for a selected realm, instance, and time range on the Log Center dashboard. The Requests table highlights the top controllers, OCAPI categories, and SCAPI API families by volume, duration, and errors. Top Stack Traces shows the stack traces that occur most often, so you can investigate recurring application failures. Previously, the dashboard showed a histogram of the top stack traces from the past 10 days.
  • Prevent Store Product Discrepancies with Partial POS Syncs
Keep your product information up to date without waiting on a full catalog sync. Set up a delta sync schedule to update only what's changed, such as product modifications, price changes, and translated details. Shoppers see the same accurate product details whether they're browsing online or standing at the register.
  • Keep Person Accounts Current with Faster Shopper Profile Updates
If you use Shopper Profile Sync, a change to a mapped attribute in a B2C Commerce shopper profile now triggers an update to the connected person account in Salesforce. Before this change, a scheduled job synced the updates, so changes could take up to 30 minutes to appear. The new sync behavior ensures that agentic workflows and service reps across the connected orgs receive accurate shopper data when it changes.
  • Create Person Accounts from Shopper Login
If you use Shopper Profile Sync, B2C Commerce now creates a person account in your connected Salesforce org in real time when a registered shopper logs in, if the shopper doesn't already have one. Before this change, these shoppers waited for the scheduled sync job. Agentforce and service reps can now see an active shopper's profile as soon as the shopper logs in.
  • Compare Revenue by External Traffic Source
Compare revenue, orders, and conversion for shoppers who reach your storefront from Search, Social, Email, and Chatbot sources. The Traffic Sources dashboard on the Traffic tab in Reports & Dashboards reports this external traffic and doesn't include direct visits. Select a source to focus the trend, top-selling products, and medium chart on that source. Sort the traffic sources table by revenue, conversion rate, or average order value.
  • Orchestrate Checkout with Payment, Gift Cards, and Fraud Commerce Apps (Beta)
Increase checkout conversion with Payment, Gift Cards, and Fraud Commerce Apps (beta) that work together to keep transactions moving. Handle payment authorization, capture, and refunds with any compatible third-party payment provider. Let shoppers redeem a stored-value gift card and cover a remaining balance with a credit card in the same transaction. Reverse the payment and refund the gift card if an order fails, so no transaction stays uncompleted. Run fraud checks before payment authorization to block high-risk orders and avoid unnecessary processing fees.
  • Include Store URLs in Your XML Sitemap
Search engines can discover your store pages when those URLs are in the sitemap that B2C Commerce generates. On the Sitemaps settings page, include stores and set change frequency, priority, and whether store URLs use a separate file. You no longer need a custom sitemap to include store URLs.
  • View Accurate Line Item Revenue for Order and Shipping Discounts in Reports & Dashboards
Previously, reports & Dashboards showed negative revenue on line items that cost less than an equal share of an order or shipping discount. Every line item received the same share of that discount. Now, each line item receives a share that matches its value. The shares still add up to the full discount.
