# Open the Next Work Item from the Same Orchestration Run

Help users complete their assigned work items from the same orchestration run without returning to the list view. When a user completes a work item, the Orchestration Work Guide opens the next work item from the same orchestration run. If the user has no remaining work items from the same run, the component shows their updated work item list for the current record. The Automatically Open Next Work Item option is available in both Lightning App Builder and Experience Builder.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, Einstein 1 Editions, Agentforce 1 Editions, and Developer editions.

**Who:** To customize record page layouts, Lightning App Builder requires that you have the Customize Application permission. To customize an object detail page, Experience Cloud requires you to be a member of the site and have the Create and Set Up Experiences permission, or be a member of the site and an experience admin.

**How:** If the Orchestration Work Guide component is on a page in Lightning App Builder or Experience Builder, select the component. Otherwise, in Lightning App Builder, add the Orchestration Work Guide component to a record page layout. In Experience Builder, add the component to an object detail page.

In the Orchestration Work Guide properties panel, select **Automatically Open Next Work Item**. This option is off by default.
