Skip the manual setup and let Agentforce for Flow Headless draft your test scenarios from a terminal, without opening Flow Builder. Use Agentforce for Flow Headless to create test scenarios for record-triggered, autolaunched, and Data Cloud-triggered flows without leaving your terminal environment. Through your connected terminal, you can generate comprehensive test scenarios for your flow, including success, fault, and edge-case paths.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
Who: To use Agentforce for Flow Headless in Agentforce Vibes, you need the Agentforce Platform Developer and Admin permission set license (PSL) and the Agentforce Developer and Admin Tools permission set assigned to your user.
Why: Creating comprehensive test scenarios for complex flows manually is time-intensive and error-prone. Agentforce for Flow Headless automatically analyzes your flow's structure, decision outcomes, and required fields to draft comprehensive test scenarios. By letting Agentforce for Flow Headless generate your test scenarios, you can:
- Ensure comprehensive coverage across success, fault, and edge-case paths.
- Reduce manual effort and potential logic gaps with pre-populated field values and precise assertions.
- Scale your testing strategy by integrating AI-generated test scenarios directly into your CI/CD pipelines.
- Create isolated data without Apex so your test scenarios run independently of org data.
How: Before you begin, connect your AI terminal to your Salesforce org. Navigate to the flow you want to test, and then enter this prompt:
create flow tests
Agentforce for Flow Headless analyzes your flow definition and logic branches to return a structured list of proposed test scenarios in your console. After you approve the proposed scenarios, Agentforce for Flow Headless builds the test scenarios, adds them to your flow, checks that they are valid, and runs them.
The terminal provides a URL to open the test scenarios in Flow Builder for review.
If you have Test Mode (Beta) enabled in Process Automation Settings, you can also enter this prompt:
use isolated data for my flow tests
Agentforce for Flow Headless creates a set of isolated test data, separate from your org data, for your test scenarios to use when running. You can preview this data in the Test Scenario panel for each test scenario.
