- Filter Records by Multi-Select Picklist Fields with the Contains Operator
The Contains operator on multi-select picklist fields now works in Get Records, Delete Records, Update Records, and schedule-triggered flow entry criteria. Previously, when you used the operator with a multi-select picklist field in these elements, it caused a run-time error. - Split Flow Paths by Date or Field Value Without Expressions
Use the Split by Date and Split by Field Value decision types to route individuals based on common conditions without building expressions. Choose a field to determine the split, define your paths, and configure values by using simple inline pickers. - Experience Flow Builder in the Modern Salesforce Cosmos Theme
Flow Builder has a visually consistent, up-to-date look that matches the rest of Salesforce. It automatically matches your org's active theme, with no additional configuration or setup required. The modern Salesforce Cosmos theme provides increased spacing, an updated color palette, and visual consistency across all of Salesforce. - See More of Your Flow with a Denser Canvas
The Flow Builder canvas is now more compact, so you can see more of your flow without scrolling or zooming. Element cards now show the element type and API name in an info tooltip to reduce visual clutter. The End element is now an icon instead of a full card, making it clear there's nothing to configure. - Track Flow Changes Over Time with Edit History
For flows that support versioning, view a timeline of each save, preview what changed, and restore previous logic. Drill into element-level details, create a new version from a past save, or copy the logic into a different flow. - Build Flows Faster with Auto-Generated Element Labels
Flow Builder automatically generates element labels based on the properties that you configure. As you build, labels update automatically, eliminating repetitive data entry. When you manually edit a label, Flow Builder preserves your changes. - Group Elements to Organize and Simplify Flows
Organize related elements into named, collapsible groups to simplify complex flows. Label and describe logical sections of your flow by using groups, then collapse them to hide detail and focus on the larger picture. - Clean up Flows Faster with the Unused Resources Filter
Identify and remove unneeded resources from your flows by using the new Unused filter in the Flow Builder Toolbox. When you make significant changes to large and complex flows, unused resources often remain behind and clutter your workspace. Narrow the list to items with no recorded usage, making it faster to find what you need. - Navigate and Configure Decision Elements More Easily
Work with Decision elements using path highlighting, resizable panels, and inline path name editing. Click a canvas path to jump to its conditions, resize the property panel to see more details, and edit path names without opening the panel. - Navigate Flow Comparison Results More Easily
Compare flow versions with a clearer results view in Flow Version Comparison. Element name labels in the comparison table are now clickable and open a resizable side panel with full change details. To reduce clutter, the table no longer includes the Change Details column. Flow versions in the selection dropdowns now list in a logical order. - Compare Versions of Data 360 and Agentforce Marketing Flows
Flow Version Comparison supports Data 360-triggered flows and Agentforce Marketing flow types. Agentforce Marketing flow types include segment-triggered, automation event-triggered, and API event-triggered flows. Version comparison also works across all audience sources in segment-triggered flows and shows changes in both table and canvas views. - Navigate Flow Builder More Efficiently with Keyboard Shortcuts
Use arrow keys to move through the auto-layout canvas from element to element, including across fault paths and other branching paths. You can also cut, copy, and paste elements with standard keyboard shortcuts. These improvements make Flow Builder a more productive environment for users who prefer keyboard navigation over mouse-based interaction. - Keep End Elements Right Where You Placed Them
Flow Builder automatically saves end elements to your flow's metadata whenever you save in auto-layout, with no setup or action required. Your canvas layout stays exactly as you left it, with no more reshuffling when you save or reload. Because every end element appears explicitly in the flow's XML, tools that read metadata get full visibility into where your flow ends. - See Agent Actions and Tools Without Leaving Flow Builder
See key agent metadata, including action names, types, and brief descriptions, directly on the agent's information panel in the Flow Builder canvas, without opening the full record or navigating to Agentforce Builder. The expanded view helps you quickly assess what an agent is capable of while staying in Flow Builder. - Enforce User Permissions No Matter How a Flow Runs
A new run context option in Flow Builder guarantees that your flow always runs with the running user's access level, regardless of what runs it. The User Context–Enforces User Permissions option is available for screen flows and autolaunched flows. - Find a Record in a Collection Without Loop Elements
Get the record that you need from a collection without looping. Create a Collection Filter Criteria resource with filter and sort criteria for your record collection. The resource returns the first matching record when other elements reference it. If you're working with records that contain related records, such as an Apex-defined data type, you can also filter on child relationships. You can use criteria on child records to filter the parent record. Previously, isolating a record from a collection in an autolaunched or screen flow meant chaining loop, decision, and assignment elements together. - Monitor Flow Performance Right on the Canvas
View flow performance data directly on the Flow Builder canvas to identify performance bottlenecks without relying on logs or external reporting tools. Previously, on-canvas insights were available only for flows triggered by Data 360. Embedded analytics aren't available for screen flows or Flow Orchestration. - Build Flows Through Conversation with Flow Author (Beta)
Describe what you want your flow to do, and Flow Author generates a deployable flow based on your confirmed intent. Flow Author supports autolaunched, record-triggered, schedule-triggered, and screen flows.
