Add a governance gate before the repossession request moves to active repossession. Once all pre-repossession assessments are completed, a Submit for Approval action routes the request to a reviewer.
The manager reviews each assessment response and accepts or rejects it with comments. Rejected assessments return to the specialist, who redoes and resubmits them; the record shows approved versus rejected assessments throughout, creating a clear decision audit trail.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Automotive Cloud and the Collections and Recovery capability.
Who: Repossession analysts submit assessments; repossession reviewers review and approve or reject them. Assign the Industries Repossession Management permission set with the appropriate persona permission (Repossession Analyst User or Repossession Reviewer User).
How: After completing the assessments, select the configured Submit for Approval action. The reviewer selects Review Assessment, accepts or rejects each response with comments, and approves or rejects the repossession request. To rework a rejected assessment, select Add Assessment, choose the assessment (applied to the whole repossession or to a specific vehicle), and resubmit.
