# Conduct Structured Vehicle Repossession Assessments

Evaluate accounts with the Industries Assessment framework before you make repossession decisions. Complete structured assessments that capture borrower circumstances, vehicle accessibility, compliance readiness, and financial viability.

Complete structured assessments that capture borrower circumstances, vehicle accessibility, compliance readiness, and financial viability in a standardized format. Assessment results provide consistent, auditable data that supports regulatory compliance and routes accounts to the appropriate next action.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Automotive Cloud and the Collections and Recovery capability.

**Who:** Users need the Automotive Foundation User, Vehicle and Asset Finance Foundation, and Industries Repossession Management permission sets.

**How:** On the Repossession record, select Add Assessments, search the assessment templates by type and sub-type, and target the whole repossession (a common assessment) or specific repossession items. Submitting creates an assessment for each selected template and target.
