Configure the legal notices your region requires before recovery, and keep an auditable log of every notice sent so your team stays compliant.
Set up the notices your organization must send during the collections and repossession lifecycle, and track them automatically. Notice rules define which legal notices are required and when; each notice sent is captured in a log tied to the collection plan milestones (such as Notice of Summoning Arrears Sent and Notice of Default Sent), giving your team a defensible compliance record.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Automotive Cloud and the Collections and Recovery capability.
Who: The Automotive Foundation User and Vehicle and Asset Finance Foundation permission sets are prerequisites. Assign the Industries Repossession Management permission set to those users. To set up document compliance, an admin also enables the document validation settings in Setup: from the Advanced Document Validation Settings page, turn on Advanced Document Validation and, for generative-AI extraction, AI-Powered Document Validation.
How: Configure Repossession Notice Rules in the Collections and Recovery settings. As the account progresses through collection plan milestones, the system records each required notice in the Repossession Notice Log.
