# Assign and Coordinate Repossession Agencies for Vehicle Recovery

Assign repossession orders to qualified third-party agencies and coordinate recovery. Track assignment status, collaborate with agencies, and maintain a complete audit trail of recovery activities.

During active repossession, select an agency for the repossession item and submit; the assigned agency, location, and status then appear on the record. Track assignment status, collaborate with agencies, and maintain a complete audit trail of recovery activities.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Automotive Cloud and the Collections and Recovery capability.

**Who:** Users need the Automotive Foundation User, Vehicle and Asset Finance Foundation, and Industries Repossession Management permission sets.

**How:** From the Repossession Item during active repossession, select Assign Agency, search for and select a recovery agency, and submit.
