# Tailor Vehicle Selection Options by Service Resource Profile for Flexible Timesheet Entry

Set up vehicle selection so that your field service Service Resources can use either vehicle, vehicle definition, or asset architecture based on their user profile. Assign vehicle, vehicle definition, or asset options to specific profiles, so each Service Resource sees only the fields relevant to their work when creating timesheets on mobile devices. Your Service Resources can then associate the vehicle with a timesheet to allocate time to the vehicle's usage.

**Where:** This feature is available in Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with Asset Service Lifecycle Management and Field Service Plus for Energy & Utilities.

**Who:** Salesforce admins with the Labor Cost Optimization Admin permission set can configure the Timesheets and Labor Cost Optimization app. To select a vehicle in the Salesforce Field Service Mobile App, you need the Labor Cost Optimization Resource and FieldServiceMobileStandardPermSet permission sets.

**How:** From Setup, go to Advanced Timesheet and Labor Cost Optimization Settings, and select **Page Layout Control** in the Vehicle selection options. Then assign Time Sheet Entry Layout to different Service Resource profiles.
