Due to a Salesforce security enhancement for outbound email, you must verify the email-sending domains associated with your Trialforce branded email sets. Starting in Winter ’27, you must verify the email-sending domains in your Trialforce management org (TMO) to create a new associated Trialforce source org (TSO) for a branded email set. This requirement also applies to new templates generated from TSOs associated with your TMO in previous releases. If you’ve already set up a DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) key or an authorized email domain, the associated email sets are automatically verified and you don’t need to take further action.
Where: This change applies to Trialforce branded email sets in Salesforce Classic. Trialforce branded email sets are available in Developer Edition.
When: Starting July 18, 2026, you must have a verified email-sending domain in order to publish a new Trialforce branded email set. Starting in Winter ’27, you must verify the email-sending domains in your TMO to create a new associated TSO for a branded email set and to create new templates from TSOs associated with your TMO in previous releases. For existing templates, you must verify your email-sending domains before November 10, 2026 to continue using your custom branded email addresses instead of a substitute address, similar to orgId@sf-customer-mail.com.
How: From Setup in your TMO, use the Quick Find box to find and select Branding. Then, click Email Sets. In the list of published email sets, review the Verified Email Domain column. For any email sets that don’t have the Verified Email Domain column checked, verify the associated email-sending domain. You can verify the domain by either creating a DKIM key or setting up an authorized email domain.
