# Tooling API Changed Calls and Resources

These resources are new or have changes.

## New REST Resources

Get Apex type information with the Apex Symbol API (Beta)

Make a GET request to the new `/services/data/v.XX.X/tooling/symbols` resource.

Retrieve compilation results for invalid Apex classes or triggers

Make a POST request to the new `/services/data/vXX.X/tooling/apexCompileResults` resource.

## Changed REST Resources

Filter Test Discovery API results by test level

Make a GET request to the existing `/services/data/vXX.X/tooling/tests` resource. The new query parameter is `testLevel`. It replaces the deprecated `showAllMethods` parameter, which is availabe only in API version 67.0 and earlier.
