ApexGuru now detects exact and near-duplicate Apex code so you can reduce redundancy and simplify maintenance, with results ranked by the number of characters you can remove. You can also scan Apex code for antipatterns from agentic IDEs, including Cursor, VS Code, and Agentforce Vibes.
Where: These updates apply to production and Full Copy Sandbox environments with ApexGuru enabled. ApexGuru is generally available at no additional cost for all Unlimited Edition, Signature Success Plan, and Scale Test customers. ApexGuru isn't supported in Government Cloud.
How: From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Scale, and then click Scale Center. Go to Scale Insights, and then click ApexGuru Insights to review Code Duplicates recommendations. To scan from an agentic IDE, connect your org through the Salesforce DX MCP Server.
