Some Agentforce agents are built to return a custom Lightning type (CLT) response, such as a card, badge, button, table, or chart, instead of plain text, including agents built with Headless Experience Layer (HXL) widgets. Previously, Agentforce Coworker converted these CLT/HXL responses to markdown during delegation. Now, it passes the CLT response through unchanged. If a delegated agent isn't built to return a CLT or HXL response, you still see a markdown summary. Agentforce Coworker's own answers always use markdown.
When: This feature is available starting the week of September 28, 2026.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Agentforce 1 editions.
How: No setup needed. When Agentforce Coworker delegates to an agent that returns a CLT or HXL widget, you see that agent's CLT response directly instead of a markdown summary.
