Advisements (beta) now flags up to 21 potential implementation risks, up from 14, with expanded detection for Content Security Policy (CSP) violations, outdated Salesforce API versions, and unused Data Detect scans. You're notified directly in your notification tray when an advisement is generated, completed, or needs attention, so you don't have to check for recommendations manually.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with a Signature Success plan. Advisements (beta) is available only in production orgs.
Why: Get flagged for emerging risks in your org.
- Content Security Policy: Detect CSP violations that block or are on track to block custom Lightning components, across core policy fallbacks, script execution and API connections, page layout and styles, page embedding and framing, and media and asset delivery.
- Outdated API versions: Update integrations calling Salesforce API versions more than 3 years old before Salesforce ends support.
- Data Detect: Scan for sensitive data and data policy violations if your org has Salesforce Shield provisioned but isn't using Data Detect, so unencrypted sensitive information doesn't go unnoticed in standard text fields.
How: Notifications appear automatically in your notification tray when an advisement is generated, completed, or requires attention. No setup is required to receive them. Review, filter, and resolve open advisements from the Advisements (beta) list view in Setup.
