As the final step in a multi-release cleanup, Account Manager is removing all deprecated roles during the week of September 28, 2026. Removing the deprecated roles doesn’t affect functionality because they no longer provide access to B2C Commerce services. The roles were deprecated in release 1.46.0 and, starting in release 3.7, labeled as deprecated in the UI. In release 3.9, users and API clients were unassigned from the deprecated roles.
Where: This change applies to Account Manager for B2C Commerce.
When: The deprecated role removal completes during the week of September 28, 2026. After the final removal, Account Manager blocks all processes, including automated ones, from assigning these roles.
How: If you still assign any of the deprecated roles through an automated process outside of the UI, update that process.
