# Build and Refine Semantic Models Faster with Semantic Modeler (Beta)

Build semantic models from natural language descriptions of your business cases to accelerate data modeling and reduce technical complexity. Semantic Modeler automatically scans your workspaces to find relevant data objects, suggest relationships, and draft calculated field formulas to deliver a fully mapped, structured semantic model.

**Note:** Semantic Modeler is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at [Agreements - Salesforce.com](https://www.salesforce.com/company/legal/agreements/) or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the [Product Terms Directory](https://ptd.salesforce.com/). Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer’s sole discretion.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**How:** Turn on this feature by enabling **Data Pro - Semantic Model Curation (Beta)** settings under your Tableau Next administration panel. Then, create the agent based on the **Tableau Agent - Semantic Modeler** template. You can then generate a semantic model from your workspace conversationally or with a single prompt from the **Add Semantic Model** page.
