Version 2.0 of the Tableau Next Embedding SDK includes a back-end upgrade to Lightning Out 2.2.3. You must upgrade to v2.0 to continue embedding Tableau Next content. If you don’t upgrade, existing apps and websites using the Tableau Next Embedding SDK will stop working. Developing and using embedded assets don’t change with this upgrade.
Where: This change applies to Tableau Next in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.
When: This change is available starting July '26.
Why: The SDK now depends on
@salesforce/lightning-out@2.2.3, renamed and upgraded from
@lightning-out/application@2.1.2.
How: Install the Tableau Next Embedding SDK v2.0 using this command:
npm install @salesforce/analytics-embedding-sdk --save
