# Ingest Salesforce CRM Data Directly into Tableau Next (Beta)

Convert standard and custom CRM objects into Data Lake Objects without leaving Tableau Next. You can now browse available connections, update a field's data type, and view primary keys directly from the data ingestion page.

**Where:** This change applies to Tableau Next in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.

Note Salesforce Connections is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.

**How:** Start by selecting a current workspace or setting up a new one. Within the workspace, click to **Add**, then **Data**, and pick **Salesforce Connections (Beta)**. Select your org and the tables to integrate into your workspace.
