# Multitask During Data Ingestion with the New Data Ingestion Drawer

Stay productive during data ingestion with the new minimizable data ingestion drawer. Instead of navigating a full-page window, you can now track progress while simultaneously setting up more tables or exploring other tabs. This update ensures a continuous workflow by enabling you to multitask across your workspace without waiting for ingestion tasks to complete.

**Where:** This change applies to Tableau Next in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.

**How:** Upload your selected sources. A new data processing drawer appears in the lower-right corner to track ingestion status. For visualizations, open the visualization and save to finalize the process.
