# Customize Tableau Next Files with Centralized Editing

Update the structure of your data more efficiently with centralized editing for data lake objects. Instead of navigating through separate menus for each table, access all your selected assets in one place to adjust metadata. This update makes it easier to find and use customization tools, so that you can modify your Data Cloud objects to your business needs.

**Where:** This change applies to Tableau Next in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.

**How:** Select the source tables for customization. Click Create Data Lake Objects and then select Edit Data Objects to open dedicated tabs for each table.
