# Adjust Start Dates and Extend Ramp Segments on Amendments

Sales reps and deal teams can now change the start date of an auto-generated ramp schedule on an amendment quote. They can also extend the final ramp segment directly or add more segments during an amendment or early renewal quote. Previously, these adjustments required abandoning the existing quote and starting over.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions of Agentforce Revenue Management, formerly Revenue Cloud, with the Revenue Cloud Growth or the Revenue Cloud Advanced license.

**How:** Select **Edit Ramp Schedule** to adjust the first segment’s start date in an amendment or to change the end date on the final segment. If the quote or order is an early renewal, you’re able to edit all dates, similar to a new sale. For contract extensions, amend and extend eliminates initiating a full renewal to add time to a deal. Sales reps can extend the final segment's end date or clone it to add a new segment with the same duration and quantities. Select **Clone Segment** to extend the ramp deal during an amendment. You can either clone the last segment or change the end date on the ramped group, not both.
