To allow users to enable and use Setup with Agentforce, assign them the Use Setup with Agentforce permission set, which includes the identically named Use Setup with Agentforce user permission. This standard permission set simplifies the configuration process, as you previously were required to create a custom permission set that included this permission.
Where: This feature is available in Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 editions.
When: This feature is available starting in August 2026.
How: From Setup, go to Permission Sets. Select the Use Setup with Agentforce permission set. To assign users, click Manage Assignments.
