# View Item Details in an Expanded Agentforce Side Panel

View full record details without leaving your current Setup page. Instead of opening a new Setup tab, expand the Setup with Agentforce side panel to review details in context. If you need more space to view details, you can open the conversation in a new Setup page.

**Where:** This feature is available in Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 editions.

**When:** This change is effective July 2026.

**How:** In Setup, open Agentforce and ask a question that returns results that can be expanded, such as the details of a record or a list of permission sets or new users. In the Agentforce panel, click **View Details** or ![Agentforce panel card expansion icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-release-notes-salesforce_release_notes-262-0-0-production-enus/e945111b-3e0a-4011-accc-d5949363bfcc/salesforce_release_notes/images/setup_agentforce_expand_card_icon.png) to expand it and see more information, while remaining on the Setup page you were viewing. You can also click an item in a list view to expand the panel.
