# Customize Service Insights Tableau Next Analytics Apps for Your Business

Take control of your analytics experience by customizing the pre-built apps directly in Tableau Next—no need to start from scratch. With at least one Tableau Next Creator license, analysts can now edit the out-of-the-box semantic data model to add calculated fields and metrics tailored to their business. Customized content remains accessible to all Limited Consumer users in the embedded experience, so your entire team benefits from the changes.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions, and Agentforce One for Service and Einstein One for Service editions, where Tableau Next is enabled.

**Who:** To customize analytics apps, users need the Tableau Next Creator license. To view customized out-of-the-box app content, users need the Tableau Next Limited Consumer permission set or higher.

**How:** From Setup, go to the app setup page for Service Insights, Sales Insights, or Agent Analytics. If your org has at least one Tableau Next Creator license, the Semantic Data Model (SDM) automatically unlocked for editing when you upgrade or reconfigure the app. Open the app in the Tableau Next UI to edit the semantic data model.
