# Manage Consent at Scale with Global Consent Manager

Centralize your consent management with a single, scalable system of record. Instead of navigating multiple complex objects to find a customer's privacy preferences, use an attribute-based model to manage billions of consent interactions. Build reusable templates so that data processing activities and marketing campaigns honor the most current customer preferences.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**When:** Global Consent Manager is available starting early August 2026.

**Who:** This feature is available to users with the Privacy Center license.

**How:** To set up Global Consent Manager, from the App Launcher, find and open **Privacy Center**, then select the **Global Consent** tab. The setup assistant provides a guided experience to define your consent attributes, publish Global Consent Definitions, and configure Guided Consent Management layouts.
