# Report Export Transaction Security Policy

A new Transaction Security Policy (TSP) is available to enhance data protection across all orgs. This policy monitors report events and triggers Step-up Authentication if a user attempts to export more than 10,000 records through the user interface.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**When:** Initially, the new policy is disabled by default. In July, it will be enabled by default for all existing and new customers. Admins can disable or edit the policy at any time to fit their specific security requirements.

**Who:** This change is available to users with the Event Monitoring or Salesforce Shield license.
