# Security Center Essentials (Generally Available)

Security curious? Check out Security Center Essentials, a powerful dashboard that shows your org’s Health Check score plus six other fundamental Security Center metrics at no additional cost.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in all editions.

**When:** The Security Center Essentials rollout starts the week of July 13, 2026, and continues through August 2026.

**Who:** Available to users with the View Security Center Pages system permission.

**Why:** The Security Center Essentials dashboard gives you a high-level snapshot of seven key security metrics, including your Security Health Check score based on the Salesforce Baseline Standard or a custom baseline you create and set as the default.

From the dashboard, you can drill down to get metric details. See how many connected apps your org has installed and who installed them, review details for managed and unmanaged packages, and monitor Login IP and Trusted IP ranges.

**How:** Security Center Essentials is enabled in Production orgs and Full and Partial Copy sandboxes. From the App Launcher, enter Security Center.

Have a Developer or Developer Pro sandbox? Look for the banner that prompts you to turn the feature on.
