# Back Up and Recover Data in US East and West

Protect your Salesforce data with regional options in the United States. Backup & Recover Next now includes US East and US West regions, expanding beyond Japan, India, and GovCloud regions. These regions give you more geographic options to store your backup data and meet regulatory requirements.

**Where:** This change applies to Backup & Recover Next in Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**When:** This functionality is available starting in August 2026.

**How:** To purchase Backup & Recover Next with US East or US West regions, contact your Salesforce account executive.
