Salesforce Contracts

Extract contract data at scale from external repositories by using bulk extraction pipelines designed for high-volume processing. Extract contract data from individual documents with flexible pipelines that support model selection and prompt templates. Route contract approvals through multilevel and conditional approval workflows by using Advanced Approvals. Generate localized documents that reflect user language, currency, and regional settings. Keep selected tokens unchanged in generated documents when no value is provided to support workflows such as e-signature processing.

  • Extract Contract Data from External Repositories in Bulk
Extract contract fields and clauses from large volumes of documents stored in external repositories, such as Amazon S3 and Google Cloud Storage, without copying files to Salesforce. Submit multiple documents in a single request and process them through an extraction pipeline designed for contracts created outside of Salesforce. Define prompt-based descriptions in extraction templates to extract metadata and clauses from contract details. Select the appropriate processing pipeline, such as Document AI for smaller files or Intelligent Extraction for large documents, and review the results in bulk extraction reports.
  • Extract Data from External Contracts with Flexible Single Extraction Pipelines
Extract contract fields and clauses from external documents and import them into Salesforce as structured data. Run single extraction without an AWS Textract license by using Document AI or Multimodal APIs for smaller files, and Intelligent Extraction for large documents. Configure and test clause extraction with prompt templates, and select the model that fits your use case. Store prompts in context attributes to persist configurations across mapping changes, and review results with the improved template preview experience.
  • Route Contract Approvals with Advanced Approvals
Manage complex contract approval workflows by using Advanced Approvals with Salesforce Contracts. Route approvals through multilevel chains, conditional routing based on contract fields such as contract value, and approval groups such as legal or finance teams. Approvers receive notifications and approve or reject contracts directly from email.
  • Generate Documents in User Locale
Generate documents that reflect user-specific language and regional settings, including translated text, locale-specific currency, and date and time formats. Control localization for document generation requests to apply consistent formatting across outputs. For more granular control, manage localization for context definitions to selectively apply translations or retain original values. Document rendering depends on the selected font, so select fonts that support the required languages or use language-specific templates when needed. If localization is turned off, document data follows the org’s default language and regional settings.
  • Preserve Unresolved Tokens with Bypass Tokens
Apply bypass tokens to keep specific tokens unchanged in generated documents when no value is provided. For example, an Adobe Sign signature token {{Sig_es_:signer1:signature}} now remains in the generated document when no value is provided instead of being removed and breaking the signing workflow. Define a bypass list of tokens to skip replacement during document generation. Tokens in the bypass list remain unchanged unless a value is provided, while other tokens continue to follow the default behavior and are replaced with empty values.
