# Sales Engagement Data Is Now Native to The Salesforce Platform

Sales Engagement metrics for new customers are stored natively on the Salesforce Platform. For existing customers, data migration begins in June. With this change, email engagement tracking now captures only the first and last engagement of each engagement type per email, rather than total engagement counts. The Sale Engagement Performance dashboard will be deprecated in October.

**Where:** This change applies to Sales Engagement in Lightning Experience. Sales Engagement is available in Performance, Einstein 1, and Unlimited Editions, and is available for an extra cost in Professional and Enterprise Editions. Sales Engagement is also available for an extra cost in Service Cloud and Lightning Platform.

**When:** New Sales Engagement customers get access to Sales Engagement on the Salesforce Platform starting in March 2026. Existing customers get access on a rolling basis starting Summer ’26.

**Why:** With Sales Engagement data stored on the Salesforce Platform, you can now:

- Drill into each engagement type, accessing better insights.
- View only the most relevant engagements.
- Add Sales Engagement data within Flow.
