# Extend an Existing Semantic Model with Lightning Experience Reports (Beta)

Use the Reports Metadata Bridge to add data from your Lightning Experience report types to an existing Customer 360 (C360) semantic model in Tableau Next, without changing the original model. The extend flow analyzes your most-used reports, compares them against a base semantic model, and generates a new semantic model that includes only the additional objects and fields you select.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions.

Note This feature is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at [Agreements - Salesforce.com](https://www.salesforce.com/company/legal/) or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the [Product Terms Directory](https://ptd.salesforce.com/). Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer’s sole discretion.

**When:** This functionality is available on a rolling basis starting in July '26. For details about timing and eligibility, contact your Salesforce account executive.

**Who:** Reports Metadata Bridge is available to admin users with a Data 360 and a Tableau Next license.

**How:** From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter **Metadata**, and then select **Reports Metadata Bridge**.

Click **Start Setup** and then walk through the guided flow to review report types, map fields for new source objects, and generate the extended semantic model.
