# Collect Fees for Public Sector Services with Inbound Payments

Help constituents pay for services, such as license and permit applications, directly on your public-facing portal. By using Inbound Payments, you can embed a secure checkout flow into your Experience Cloud site. This integration helps constituents settle fees digitally and gives agency employees real-time visibility into payment status, reducing manual reconciliation and ensuring compliance before application approval.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions where Agentforce Public Sector, formerly Public Sector Solutions, is active. Requires BillingAddon, PublicSectorPaymentsIntegrationAddon, and LPIForCmtyAddOn licenses.

**Why:** Previously, agencies used disparate systems or in-person processing to collect fees, which disconnected payments from application records. With Inbound Payments, you control financial transactions directly within Salesforce. This integration links payments to specific requests, reduces disputes, and enables compliance officers to verify payment completion before authorizing services.

**How:** Use **Product Catalog Management** in Setup to configure your Service Catalog, which defines services and associated regulatory fees. Set up your payment gateway with Salesforce Payments. Then, add the Payment Form component to your Experience Cloud Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) site pages to expose the cart and checkout flow to constituents.
