Reduce manual data entry for job applicants by automatically extracting information from uploaded resumes and pre-populating application forms. Data Cloud Document AI uses large language models (LLMs) to capture structured data from unstructured documents such as resumes, pay stubs, tax returns, and lab reports, helping applicants complete forms faster and with fewer errors.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions where Agentforce Public Sector, formerly Public Sector Solutions, is active. Requires the OmniStudio for Public Sector add-on and a Data 360 license with Data Cloud Document AI enabled.
Why: Previously, constituents had to manually type information from their documents into application forms, which was time-consuming and error-prone. With Data Cloud Document AI, applicants upload a document and the system automatically extracts key details and pre-populates the relevant application fields. For benefit applications, this includes income data from pay stubs, W-2 forms, and tax returns. For job applications, this includes candidate information from resumes such as name, contact details, education, employment history, and skills. This reduces applicant effort, speeds up form submission, and improves data accuracy.
How: In Setup, enable Einstein Generative AI in Data 360 and configure a Document AI schema for resumes using the document schema builder. Use Integration Procedures and Data Mappers to orchestrate the extraction and transformation of document data, and map the extracted fields to your OmniScript application form variables. Configure the document upload component in your recruitment application OmniScript to trigger document processing and pre-populate form fields after upload.
