# Streamline Compliance Mapping with Impact Analysis

Identify how changes to regulation and compliance policy clauses affect your compliance framework by using Impact Analysis for Process Compliance Navigator. Manually identifying how new or updated regulation and policy clauses relate to existing records is time-consuming. This leaves organizations vulnerable to compliance gaps. Impact Analysis automates the discovery of these relationships so you can visualize how updates affect your entire compliance ecosystem. Prompt Templates provide specific instructions and constraints to ensure the LLM identifies relevant correlations between clauses, controls, and processes.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Developer, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions with Process Compliance Navigator and Data 360.

**Who:** Impact Analysis for Process Compliance Navigator is available to Salesforce users with Compliance Admin permission, Prompt Template Manager or Prompt Template User permission, and Data 360: Data Cloud Architect or Data Cloud User permission.

**Why:** Use Compliance Impact Analysis to map the impact of regulatory and policy changes by automatically identifying related business processes, policies, regulations, and controls. Use semantic search to find these dependencies, streamline the update process, and reduce manual compliance mapping.

**How:** On the Regulation Version, Regulation Clause Version, Compliance Policy Version, and Compliance Policy Clause Version record, click **Launch Impact Analysis** to analyze potential impacts across regulations, policies, controls, and business processes. Then map those records to the current regulation or compliance policy record.
