# Streamline Remote Checkout with Real-Time Payment Sync

Free store associates from manual tracking to focus on customers. The POS system automatically updates order statuses and sends an e-receipt to the customer upon successful payment. Previously, associates spent time checking payment statuses and issuing receipts. Store managers can also monitor remote payment status in the POS app. Previously, expired payment links tied up inventory reservations and required manual intervention to resolve.

**Where:** This change applies to Point of Sale.

**When:** This change is available in builds 11.8.1 and later.

**How:** In CMS, edit your Cart Options layout and create a deep link to open the Remote Pay by Link Que from checkout in the POS app.
