# Strengthen Inventory Accuracy and Compliance with Manager Approval for Receiving Discrepancies

Improve inventory accuracy and accountability by requiring manager authentication and approval for all Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) receiving discrepancies. Managers can review, approve, or audit quantity variances before finalization, with all actions logged in an event file for complete traceability. This controlled workflow reduces receiving errors, enhances loss prevention visibility, and strengthens compliance controls.

**Where:** This change applies to Point of Sale.

**How:** In CMS, go to **Store Management | Associates | Approval Policy Configuration**. Configure the ASN Discrepancy Approval policy.
