# Scale Global Operations with Granular Tax Configuration

Manage multiple tax accounts across a large organization by configuring reference codes at the store level. This update enables stores in different regions or under different brands to perform tax calculations that use separate profiles. By specifying a store record field for these codes, you gain localized control over tax auditing while maintaining a global fallback for simplified administration.

**Where:** This change applies to Point of Sale.

**How:** In CMS, go to **Integrations | Tax Engine Configuration**. Edit a configuration and configure the **Store Tax Field Name**.
