# Reduce Sales Loss Because of Gift Card Compatibility

Connect your Point of Sale app, formerly Retail Cloud Modern POS, to any gift card vendor by using the new Gift Card SPI. You can now integrate specialized providers to check balances, activate cards, and process redemptions directly in the POS. This SPI makes sure that your checkout process supports the specific gift card services your business requires.

**Where:** This change applies to Point of Sale.

**How:** In CMS, go to **Custom Connectors** and configure the **GIFT\_CARD\_SERVICE SPI**.
