# Simplify Discount Management with Associate-Controlled Promotion Overrides

Enable associates to select whether transaction-level discounts override or stack with promotions, eliminating complex per-promotion configurations. Associates can apply manual discounts that supersede all active promotions with a simple selection, streamlining workflows for returns, price matching, and special circumstances.

**Where:** This change applies to Point of Sale.

**How:** On the POS app, apply a transaction discount to the cart. Select whether the discount overrides or stacks with promotions.
