To better protect your data, we now show a banner when you edit permissions for a permission set, permission set group, or profile that’s assigned to or created for an unauthenticated guest user or agent user. This notification helps you verify that the permissions and access settings included in these features are appropriate for the sensitivity of your data.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Contact Manager, Group, Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, Developer, and Database.com editions.
When: This feature is available in July 2026.
How: We show this banner on several Setup pages, including profile, permission set, and permission set group detail pages, as well as summary pages.
