Omnistudio provides a comprehensive, low-code suite of services and components, designed to build engaging, industry-specific digital experiences. It accelerates the path from development to production, enabling you to create guided customer interactions by using data from Salesforce and external sources.
- Resume Omniscripts Across Users with Enhanced Save for Later
Deliver seamless, collaborative customer journeys where different users can start, save, and resume the same Omniscript. Previously, Save for Later had limitations that often resulted in restrictions of its usage. In Summer '26, these limitations have been removed. You can now share Omniscript saved session records with the Sharing option. For example, an internal service representative can start an application on behalf of a customer and share a link with the customer to complete it. Similarly, a guest user can save their progress and resume it later as an authenticated user. - Optimize Implementation Consistency with Data Mapper Versioning
Manage different versions of your Data Mappers by enabling versioning. It activates existing standard Data Mappers as version 1 and locks active components to maintain consistency across your implementations. You can create new versions to make changes rather than editing active components, keeping Data Mappers consistent with other Omnistudio components. By default, Data Mapper versioning is disabled. - Switch Between Standard and Managed Package Runtimes and Designers in the Same Org
Use Omnistudio Hybrid to access both managed package and standard designers within the same org. If you’re on a managed package runtime and designer, you can create all new components directly in the standard designer and standard runtime to experience a refreshed layout and improved performance. By default, Omnistudio Hybrid is enabled for managed package users to maintain metadata consistency while providing a reliable path to modern workflows. Continue managing your existing legacy components in the managed package designer while building your new components on the standard designer. - Migrate to Omnistudio Standard Runtime by Using the Omnistudio Migration Assistant
Automate and simplify your Omnistudio component migration with the new Omnistudio Migration Assistant, a Salesforce CLI plug-in. Migrate Flexcards, Omniscripts, Data Mappers, Integration Procedures, Global auto numbers, custom labels, and related objects, such as Apex classes and FlexiPages. You can migrate these components from the Vlocity Industries or Omnistudio Foundation packages with custom or standard data model to the Omnistudio standard runtime. - Accelerate Flexcard Development with Omnistudio MCP (Beta)
Use the Omnistudio Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to bridge the gap between AI and low-code development. This implementation of MCP functions as a governed pathway for connecting AI agents directly to your Omnistudio development lifecycle. Use AI to quickly convert requirements, such as plain text, screenshots, or UX mockups, into functional Flexcard templates. Then iterate, simulate, and test your components before deployment. - Invoke Autolaunched Flows in Omnistudio Flexcards (Pilot)
Streamline your development process and use existing or new autolaunched flows in Flexcards. Reuse existing business logic by using autolaunched flows as a native data source in Flexcards, bringing the power of Flow’s background automation to your digital experiences. - Get Actionable Guidance for Omnistudio Error Messages on Salesforce Help
Find actionable causes and solutions for errors. Fix issues related to component design, runtime performance, access, and other commonly-faced scenarios. - Open Flexcard Actions in a New Browser Tab or Window
Give users more control over their navigation experience by allowing them to open Flexcard action targets in a new browser tab or window. Your users can now launch Omniscripts or external web pages without losing their current place in Salesforce or an Experience Cloud site. - Accessibility Enhancements in Omnistudio
Deliver more inclusive digital experiences with comprehensive accessibility, usability, and consistency enhancements across Omnistudio runtime components. These updates follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 best practices to improve navigation for screen reader and keyboard users. - Omnistudio Minor Releases
