Add proactive estimation capabilities to existing gap-filling activities to maintain data completeness. Prioritize actual usage data over placeholders so that your final reports are based on the most reliable facts.

This approach replaces the previous method of deriving scope 2 location and market-based emissions from individual component gases, such as CO2, CH4, and N2O. To update emissions that were calculated with the previous method, click Recalculate on your footprint records.
