# Expand Email Personalization with Marketing Objects, AMPscript Language Support, and New Scripting Helpers

Store marketing data in high-throughput Marketing Objects. Personalize messages by using AMPscript and Handlebars to retrieve recipient data and include reusable content programmatically. Validate your code directly in the visual editor, which identifies syntax errors and provides immediate suggestions for fixes.

**Where:** These changes apply to Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited editions with Marketing Cloud Growth and Advanced editions and to Marketing Cloud Engagement Pro+, Corporate+, and Enterprise+ editions.

## Store Marketing Data in High-Performance Marketing Objects

Marketing Objects provide a high-throughput, low-latency data store for your marketing data. Bring data from external systems into your Marketing Objects by importing CSV files. Marketers can personalize email messages by using Handlebars or AMPscript to read and manipulate data from Marketing Objects.

**Who:** To manage Marketing Objects, you must have the Manage Marketing Objects and Modify All Records on Marketing Objects permissions. To view records in Marketing Objects, users must have the View All Records on Marketing Objects permission.

## Customize Messages with AMPscript

Messages in Marketing Cloud Next can now include AMPscript code. With AMPscript, you can retrieve recipient data from Marketing Objects or include reusable content programmatically. This feature also reduces the effort required to recreate content from Marketing Cloud Engagement in Marketing Cloud Next.

## Add New Fields and Individual Records Easily to Marketing Objects

To make quick corrections, add test data, or capture one-off entries, add fields to your marketing objects and enter individual records directly in Data Explorer. Add fields to empty or data-populated objects and modify field properties without affecting existing data. To enter a small number of records, skip the CSV upload and enter values directly.

**Who:** To manage Marketing Objects, you must have the Manage Marketing Objects and Modify All Marketing Objects Records permissions.

**When:** This functionality is available starting August 2026.
