Unlock Deeper Insights with Improved Data Management

Gain greater control, visibility, and efficiency across your marketing data with streamlined connections, automated pipelines, and deeper insights into data quality and customer journeys.

Where: These changes apply to Lightning Experience in Salesforce Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Marketing Intelligence in Marketing Cloud Next.

Manage Data Source Connections from a Centralized Interface

Monitor and maintain all your marketing data source connections in a single, intuitive view. A unified interface helps you identify which connection is linked to which source and highlights expired or failing authentications to prevent gaps in your reporting. You can now resolve connection issues with one-click reauthentication and spend less time navigating multiple settings pages.

How: To view all your connections, in Data Management, go to Connection Management.

Monitor Pipeline Health with Metadata Logs

Gain full visibility into your data processing with a unified interface for tracking pipeline execution history and health. Monitor key details such as row counts, data dates, and processing status to ensure your data is accurate and up to date. Expand pipeline rows to inspect specific data streams or transform components so you can quickly identify and resolve failures.

How: To view pipeline health, click Process Log on the pipeline record page.

Ingest Data Automatically with Pipeline Email Addresses

Automatically ingest CSV attachments into Marketing Intelligence by sending them to a unique, auto-generated email address. Simplify integration with legacy systems, external BI tools, or manual workflows, reducing manual uploads and keeping your data current.

How: In Setup, enable Automate Data Retrieval with Email. After you create a pipeline, find the generated email on the pipeline record page.

Ingest Customized Data with New Custom Connectors

Create custom data streams for Adobe Analytics, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and Google Analytics 4 by selecting the exact fields that you want to ingest for each data object. These connectors map directly to provider APIs so that you can bring in custom event parameters and non-sampled data to meet your specific reporting requirements.

Discover Where Conversions Stall with Funnel-Based Attribution

You can now define sequential steps across the customer journey to identify precisely where users lose momentum. By applying First-Touch or Last-Touch attribution models to custom-built funnels, you can quantify the impact of specific interactions, from marketing campaigns to site-wide engagements on final conversion. Use this granular visibility to identify friction points and optimize the end-to-end path, improving ROI and scaling successful user behaviors

How: In Data Management, select Touch-Based Attribution.
